Brandon pulled into the driveway at 10 o clock he was so warn out he opened the door and went straight to bed. Marie didn’t hear him come in she called his cell phone but it went straight to voicemail Marie hung up and went back to sleep the next day Marie started screaming Brandon rushed down the stairs Marie what’s wrong Marie stopped when she saw Brandon he hugged her I thought you were hurt or didn’t come home she started crying he sat beside her and held her in his arms Marie why would you think that she wiped her eyes because you usually call me back or kiss me when you get home and I didn’t even know you were home, Marie I’m sorry I guess I was so busy at work I forgot to turn it on I am so sorry and I got home and I just went right to bed Marie lifted her head well turn your phone on right now and until you listen to those voicemails I left you I won’t talk to you Brandon was shocked Marie was so emotional he didn’t know what to do he reached in his pocket his phone wasn’t there he smiled at Marie she stared him down he ran up the stairs looked on the bed the floor everywhere he ran out to his car wasn’t there. Marie I can’t find it she didn’t say a word he grabbed his jacket got in the car and went to work he thought for sure his phone would be in his office he ran into the building opened his office door and began searching it was still not there Brandon began freaking out he felt a tap on his shoulder it was Jason dude you alright Brandon sighed and told Jason what was going on wow Marie must be really mad I know that’s why I need to find my phone Jason can you help me find it sure they looked in all the rooms even the bathrooms they asked everyone at the company if they had seen it. Marie laid on her bed thinking about what it would be like to be a mom of course she was worried that Brandon wouldn’t be around so much but she knew that she could take care of her little babies Brandon came into the room with a bowl of tomato soup (Marie’s favorite) Marie smiled when she saw her husband she felt like they were closer then they ever had been Brandon put the bowl on the dresser and laid down by his wife they stared into each other’s eyes Brandon I can’t believe were having triplets I mean we have been trying to start a family for four years and instead of one child we get three Brandon smiled I think it’s a miracle Marie looked at the ceiling do you think that they should have separate rooms Brandon chuckled I don’t think they would care right now your right but we need to paint a room for them and I was thinking it would be different if they got separate rooms with different colors of paint Brandon smiled how about we go look at baby stuff for the kids Brandon helped Marie sit up and got her slippers and carried her down the stairs and into the car I think it might be safer right now for me to sleep downstairs just until the babies are born Brandon nodded his head backed the car out of the driveway and drove to the baby store Marie pulled out a note book and pen out of her purse so we will need three cribs a three seated stroller three high chairs three baby swings Brandon slowed Marie down how about I ask your mom and my mom and Alice to throw you a baby shower and then we can see what we need after that Marie turned her head to Brandon and said I completely forgot about that they pulled into the parking lot and walked inside Marie was amazed by the store baby things everywhere Marie rubbed her stomach Brandon walked over to the toy isle Marie went to look at the cribs she pulled her notebook out and began writing down the prices of the cribs she saw different ones the girls cribs were pink and purple and silver and made of cherry wood and the boy cribs were blue and green and red were made of dark cherry wood Marie called Brandon’s name I’m in the toys he yelled Marie laughed and walked to the toys Brandon was playing with a little toy Marie laughed Brandon tried hiding the toy but Marie took it before he could what is this she asked him it’s a toy for Sean I get that but what is it oh well it’s a car a big car so he can’t swallow it Marie shook her head and said your going to be a great dad Brandon hugged Marie and I got this for the girls he held out two dolls one was dressed in pink the other was purple Marie bit her lip they will love there toys she put the dolls and the car in the cart oh my gosh look it’s a ring stacker the kids will love this Marie put into the cart do you think we will need more then one Brandon looked at the price and said Marie I think we should just get one Marie put the other stackers back lets go look at the other stuff Marie smiled and pushed the cart Marie stopped what’s wrong honey I don’t feel so good Brandon didn’t know what to do should we go home Marie nodded her head okay let me just put this stuff back Marie grabbed Brandon’s hand no I want to get this stuff for the kids we can get it later no Brandon I want it today Brandon could tell how much this stuff meant to her Brandon held onto Marie and walked to the cash register the cashier was cheery and helpful Brandon gave the lady twenty dollars she gave him back a quarter and the bag and said have a nice day come back soon Brandon walked Marie to the car helped her in started the car and drove home Brandon was worried Marie rubbed her fingers against his face to let her husband know that she was doing okay Brandon grabbed her fingers and kissed them Marie put her hands on her lap and closed her eyes Brandon didn’t know how this was going to work obviously Marie needed Brandon no one else but he couldn’t leave work they needed money to raise there family Brandon pulled into there drive way carried Marie into the house and put her on the couch Brandon went into the spare bedroom it was completely bare there was not even a window he decided that Marie was right she needed to stay downstairs so she won’t worry about falling down and hurting the babies Brandon went to work her had some wood in the garage so he put some shelves up in the room to keep some of Marie’s clothes in he brought down the mattress and laid it on the ground he wanted to paint the room but he didn’t want the chemicals to hurt the babies Brandon made that empty bare room into a master piece he wanted to show Marie but he knew she was really tired so he left her on the couch Brandon went to the kitchen and made a sandwich an hour later Marie woke up she laid there Brandon sat by her how did you sleep he asked Marie frowned I was having a hard time sleeping. Why he asked? Just thinking about everything Brandon held Marie’s hand do you remember the day we met he asked her of course how could I forget we met at a summer camp and became really good friends and the last day of summer camp I realized I liked you more then a friend and I was hurt when I saw you dancing with another girl and I called my mom to come get me so I wouldn’t cry in front of everyone Brandon laughed but it’s because of those tears we got closer Marie smiled I love you Brandon and I love these kids but this is killing me I am always wondering if we made the right choice Brandon gave Marie a disgusted look I am just so scared Marie started crying Brandon took her in his arms Marie I love you and I can feel that we made the right choice and only time will tell Marie grinned I love your smile Marie that’s why I fell in love with you I love your eyes the greenish blue colors and how you light up it just makes me happy Brandon put a blanket over Marie and laid down next to her they fell asleep the next day Marie woke up to a note from Brandon hey babe I went to work I got to bring home the bacon he had drawn a briefcase full of bacon Marie laughed she felt a kick a few kicks Marie was shocked she grabbed her phone and called Brandon it went to voice mail she left a message hey loved the drawing so did the babies they kicked I felt all three kick it was incredible I can’t wait for you to get home and have you feel I love you alright bye Marie hung up they kicked again Marie felt her stomach and whispered do you love me they kicked again Marie couldn’t stop smiling I won’t ask anymore save some for daddy I got to get up Marie took a deep breath and lifted herself off the couch lets see what to do today maybe I should call grandma and ask her if she wants to go do something or Alice or someone let’s call Alice Marie dialed the number hello hey Alice it’s Marie how are you. I am planning a wedding oh and how is that stressful I can’t talk right now Jason’s mom just came and we haven’t met yet oh Marie laughed good luck thanks I will need it well I will call you later ok bye. Alice turned on the radio, Marie sat in silence. So Marie are you, Alice stop the car I can’t do this Marie shouted. Marie took off her seat belt and opened the door and stepped outside Marie started crying Alice got out of the car Marie I know it’s not the same without Brandon but he is working and he asked me to take you because he love’s you and want’s to know if everything is ok. Marie stopped crying your right Alice I just am scared what if I lost the baby and the cancer is growing well then we will never know unless we get back into this car and go to the doctor’s and he can tell us. Marie looked at the car and got in she shut her door put her seat belt on. Alice smiled and got in the car, turned the car back on and sat there Alice pulled out her phone and started texting someone she finished typing and waited for the next text. A minute later she got a text back Alice put her phone away and started driving Alice turned to Marie so are you feeling better she asked? Marie looked at her stomach yes I think so I just I know but I promise you your doing the right thing Marie smiled I think I am going to take a nap to calm me down alright I will wake you up when we get there Marie laid her head back and fell fast asleep Alice turned off the radio and kept driving Alice started thinking about Jason she missed him so much she wanted to call him but she was driving and it was not safe to text or be on the phone while driving. Marie jumped what’s wrong it’s really cold Dr. Short laughed he put the gadget on her belly Brandon and Marie watched the screen alright you see that round thing right here that is the babies head and this is it’s arm and the here’s the leg is it a boy or a girl it looks like a girl Brandon smiled Marie that’s great Dr. but is my baby healthy looks like it wait hold on there is another round head and another arm and a leg and well congratulations you have a boy and a girl and they both look healthy Marie sighed a big breathe of relive Marie looked at the screen n wait Dr. I think you missed one Dr. short looked at the screen and oh my gosh there is another little girl he could now hear three heart beats Brandon kissed Marie we have triplets seriously Marie’s eyes began to feel up I will print these pictures off for you guy’s. Marie I still want to check on your cancer so let me wipe this off you and we can do some tests Dr. Short Walked out of the room I can’t believe this Brandon we are going to have triplets I can’t either Marie. They smiled at each other I hope they are ok so do you still want to keep the names we planned on Marie smiled and looked at her stomach I think we should keep the names we decided on, Brandon ran his fingers through his wife’s long blonde hair I love you Brandon I love you to Marie. Dr. Short walked back in alright Marie lets do some tests the doctor checked her to see how she was doing Marie I want to remind you that we don’t know what’s going to happen and we are doing the best we can but the cancer is slowly growing I am hoping we can wait till the babies are delivered and then we can immediately start treatments. Dr. Short I know everything will be ok and if I am not okay I don’t care all I care about are my babies, sounds good and Marie I want to warn you that this journey that you are on right now is just going to get harder and harder and you might not stop throwing up but I hope that you can at least keep something down or I am going to have you come in and were going to have to give you an iv or figure out something or you and the babies are not going to be healthy at all, Marie nodded her head Brandon shook Dr. Shorts hand thanks James we would be lost without you here your welcome Brandon can I talk to you out here Brandon stepped outside with Dr. Short Brandon I need you to watch her or maybe Alice can or someone she really needs nutrition or she is going to get worse. I know Dr. I will do everything I can do make her and the babies healthy. Good you sound like your going to be a great dad Brandon smiled oh and Brandon I would like Marie to come in every Friday or Saturday to see how she is doing will see you next week alright take care oh I almost forgot your baby pictures. Jason looked down at the ground I didn’t realize that you were that hurt that day I shrugged my shoulders it’s not a big deal anymore Jason walked over to me and put his lips on my forehead it felt nice then he kissed my lips I kissed him back there were still fireworks we got more into it I finally stopped Jason I don’t want you to leave but I think it’s for the best Jason looked into my eyes smiled grabbed his coat and said I think your right will you call me when you get home let me see your phone I handed him my blue blackberry he put his number in my phone handed it back to me I will see you tomorrow I smiled sounds like a plan he walked out the door twenty minutes later I got a text from him saying I am glad that we saw each other see you tomorrow I couldn’t sleep after that we stayed up all night texting just like we use to except this time no one was told us to go to bed so we stayed up all night until I finally fell asleep I woke up to my alarm it was six thirty am I got showered and dressed and got ready for work I heard a knock on my door I yelled come in as I was brushing my teeth it was Jason he came in with this huge smile hey he started laughing sorry you got some tooth paste on your cheek I started blushing washed my cheek off and finished brushing my teeth he walked over to me and kissed me wow you smell minty fresh I laughed we walked to work every morning together we had dinner at each others place every night it had been a month when we went to celebrate are one month anniversary he took me to this fancy restaurant and he ordered for me and he started talking Alice when I first met you I didn’t know if it was going to work out but then I saw you a month ago and I knew it would at that moment he got on his knee and said Alice I also know I can’t imagine my life with out you so will you marry me I couldn’t believe it he finally asked me to marry him and I said yes we went to my parents house and told them and we had his parents over as well I realized if I wanted to get married in the temple then I had a lot of repenting to do so I told Jason that I needed time to repent and fix my life but I still want to get married but not until we can get married in the temple Jason agreed so I talked to my bishop and he said that it’s going to take some time and so I finally finished repenting it took six months but I did it and I told Jason that I needed three more months so we can prepare to be married he was all for it so now I am staying with my parents and Jason moved into my apartment and when were married we will move in together. Alice finished her story Marie smiled wow Alice so what are you going to do while you wait well I was going to open a bridal store and since you need something to do I thought you could work there earn some money and we could work together again just like old times Marie smiled I would love to work at your store with you great well little missy I promised your husband I would take you to the doctor so lets go Alice helped Marie stand up and got her outside wow Alice you still have the same car yes I love this car Marie laughed and slowly got in the car Alice started her Porsche and backed out of the drive way and headed to the doctor with Marie

the next morning Brandon woke up early so he could get ready for his meeting at work he was not sure what was going to happen and he didn't want to tell Marie he knew it would make her worry. Brandon got dressed and shut the front door quietly so he wouldn't wake Marie he opened the door of his Fiji Blue Pearl Honda Mugen Civic and left the house four hours later Marie woke up she turned over not realizing what time it was good morning my sweet husband she sat up Brandon where are you she searched the house for him she called his phone but it went straight to voice mail Marie didn't know where he was whenever Brandon left he would leave her a note but he didn't this time which was strange Marie held her hand over her mouth and ran to the bathroom she sat there for awhile and finally stopped and laid on the couch and went to sleep. Brandon pulled into the company parking lot he was sweating in his nice black suit he had no idea if he was about to get fired he had worked hard but since Marie was sick he asked if he could work part times which they were not happy about Brandon finally walked into the building he didn't know if it would take longer to walk up the stairs or take the elevator he decided to take the elevator after all his boss would not be happy that he was late for the meeting he took a deep breath and walked into the dark blue elevator he pushed the level six white button the elevator music began to play it was a quite little song it seemed to relax him he felt like a bowl of jello just wiggling not a care in the world he finally could relax he completely forgot about the meeting and the fact that he could get fired but then the music stopped and the elevator came to a stop the doors opened Brandon stepped out and walked to the door he knocked cherry wood door softly hoping no one would be there come in a deep voice said Brandon rolled his eyes and slowly walked in ah Brandon we have been waiting for you come in and shut the door and have seat Brandon looked around the room was full of executive producers they all looked the same with there blue suits and there glasses and there blackberry's Brandon couldn't help but smile yes sir he took a seat in the red velvet chair Mr. Vance Brandon we have been talking everyone turned to Brandon and we have all decided that even though you are working part time we want you to become the CEO of the company Brandon's jaw dropped wait can you say that again we want you to be the CEO of this company Brandon held in his excitement can you excuse me for a moment Mr. Vance stopped smiling and said we will need an answer when you get back Brandon nodded and left the room he pulled out his blackberry and called Marie She answered hello hey guess what Marie what, you are talking to the new CEO of the lunar pictures studios Marie smiled are you serious i am dead serious they want an answer when i go back in there and i want you to decided Brandon I think that you should take it this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and you have always wanted this that's true but Marie this job might require traveling and that means i won't be home with you as much or the baby Marie stopped smiling Brandon I love you and so does this baby and we will be a family no matter where you are I just want you to be happy and so you should take this job besides you will get to go all over the world with this job and make millions happy and be able to make a difference in movies and everything Brandon smiled Marie i have to go i will see you at home later bye Brandon Bye Marie Brandon hung up took a deep breath and walked back into the conference room So Brandon what is your decision? The Dream

Marie started dreaming of a women who looked just like her except she was surrounded by three kids, two girls and one boy. Marie couldn't see there faces but she could hear them. Mommy lets play hide and go seek please. Not right now Sean I have to pay these bills why don't you and your sisters Mia and MyA go play in the backyard. Fine race you girls outside the three little kids ran off. Marie what is it now Sean,Marie could feel someone shaking her wake up Marie I'm home Marie woke up to see Brandon sitting by her, did you sleep good? yes I was having a dream about these three kids Sean Mia and MyA. Really what did they look like? I couldn't tell it was blury but I could hear them and they sounded beautiful.Brandon smiled I bet they did. Marie sat up and layed her head on Brandon's shoulder, I wish are lives could be like this all the time I know but you have to work so we can raise this child and others to come, That's true the company is having a meeting tommorrow and i have no idea what it's about just that I have to be there. Marie looked up at Brandon do you think everything is okay? did you do something wrong? Brandon laughed at Marie's questions.Everything is going to be fine I have followed all the rules at the company I am pretty sure that it's just a meeting. Brandon's phone went off he got off the couch sat Marie down gently and walked into the kitchen. Hello, hey mom yes everything is fine. Sorry I just needed someone to talk to I told her I got to go mom, okay love you to bye. Who was that? It was my mom she just wanted to check on us. Okay what do you want for dinner Brandon sat down at the table I don't care. How about we have tuna helper. Brandon looked up what is that. It's like hamburger helper excet you can add tuna fish but I really just like the noodles. We have had noodles all week aren't you tired of eating noodles? Actually I am not I think it's just a weird craving I am just having.That sounds great but I am really tired of eating pasta so I will eat something else oh okay we have stuff in the fridge do you want me to make you dinner. No I am cooking I wish I could make you dinner but I don't know how to make your tuna helper Brandon frowned. Marie laughed it's all good it's actually pretty complicated but worth making. Brandon walked to the fridge pulled out the lean bacon, mushrooms, green onions, peppers, and other foods. So what are you going to make? I don't know I forgot the cheese can you get it for me. Marie grabbed the cheese from the cheese drawer here you go do you want me to grade the cheese? If you wouldn't mind, that would be great. Okay I give this cheese a B+ Marie smiled. Brandon started laughing your funny honey you make me laugh so much. That's my job, is to make you and everyone laugh. Marie started grading the swiss cheese for brandon. Brandon went to the fridge put the vegetables away. Do you still want your tuna helper? Marie looked at Brandon and the food around her the smell was overwhelming she was really craving the pasta but the food that Brandon made was mouth watering Marie sighed no I will just eat what your making Brandon laughed soundsds great Marie put the tuna helper back in the pantry It's almost done I can't wait for you to try it. Sounds Marie put her hand over her mouth and ran to the bathroom. Brandon followed her. Honey are you okay? Marie couldn't answer she kept throwing up she eventually stopped she stood up brushed her teeth and came out of the bathroom Brandon came over and put his tan arms around her.I don't think that was morning sickness Marie looked up at Brandon she loosened his arms and walked away. Where are you going? Marie kept walking up the stairs she went to her bedroom got on her hands and knees and began to pray to heavenly father I am so sick and scared I feel like I made the wrong choice please give me a sign she started sobbing a few minutes later she began to felt a warm feeling inside her heart. She got up got in her bed and fell asleep as she was laying there she had a dream about her dad. He was sitting down in a white chair dressed all in white except for his blue Dodgers baseball cap. He saw Marie he went up and hugged her Marie hugged her dad so tight she never wanted to let go. Tears fell down from her cheek Her dad wiped away her tears with his clean thumb. Walk with me he said in his deep but gentle voice Marie walked with her dad. Marie have missed you so much but I have watched you grow up and I am so proud of you with everything you do. Marie smiled, I also want you to know that everything is going to okay, Marie looked into her dad's brown almond eyes. You made the right choice just remember that and you will have those trials but I know that you will pull through. Never forget that but also never forget how much I love you. They hugged one last time, Marie's dad walked away into the white clouds and dissapeared Marie stood there overwhelmed by what her dad just told her. She turned around she heard her name being called by tine little voices the voices got louder and louder fianally she could see that they were kids calling her name She still couldn't see there faces but she fell in love with them she knew that they were here kids. Marie woke up, Brandon was fast asleep next to her, Marie shook Brandon wakeup Brandon honey please wakeup. Brandon opened his eyes turned to Marie, Marie smiled Brandon I had a dream. Marie can you just tell me about it tommorrow? No! I might forget it's really important. Brandon sat up and listened Marie told him every detail about her dream how she saw her dad and that he said everything was going to be okay and that we made the right choice Brandon I heard are kids calling my name it was such an amazing feeling. Brandon smiled thanks for waking me up I think we can go to sleep with peaceful mids Marie hugged Brandon and layde down thinking to herself that God gave her that dream so that she knew everything would be ok. Marie was about to close her eyes when she remembered her dad saying you will face trials. Marie's eyes shot open what did he mean what kind of trials.??????????

The next Morning Brandon woke up and made Marie breakfast, he made her turkey bacon with chocolate chip pancakes. Marie woke up to the smell of bacon she walked down the stairs. Good morning Brandon smiled I made you breakfast I can see that,but you only cook when your feeling guilty. Brandon st down the plate of bacon on the table. You think you have got me all figured out? Oh baby I know you more then you know yourself. Is that so, yes it very much is I have got you wrapped around my finger. Brandon backed off okay you win Good, I always win. For now you win Marie sat down and began eating her breakfast. Brandon was heading back upstaires your not hungry. You know I don't like turkey Bacon of course I do Marie headed to the fridge that's why I bought you Lean bacon. Brandon put his head down and laughed I guess you do know me. Sit down honney and have some chocolate chip pancakes while i cook your Lean non turkey bacon Thanks but this was suppose to be for you. It's okay you deserve this you deal with my constant attitude. Marie didn't feel so good she covered her mouth and ran to the bathroom Brandon followed her Marie are you okay what's wrong she couldn't answer him she kept vomiting. She finally stopped and stood up I think I have morning sickness Marie smiled when the words came out of her mouth. Why are you smiling about morning sickness. It just means that we are getting closer and closer to having this baby. Brandon smiled I would kiss you but you just threw up and that's kinda a little gross. Ya just a little bit, they both smiled can you check on the bacon so it doesn't burn. Brandon smiled and left the bathroom. Marie stayed in the bathroom for awhile, Honey I have to go to work are you going to be okay by yourself I can call in sick and take care of you. I will be fine, and I am pretty sure you don't want to hear me barfing all day. I honestly would not want to but I would be here with you so it wouldn't matter. I will call you everytime I throw up so you know whats going on. Thanks I will leave my phone on vibrate for you, Brandon kissed Maries forhead and said goodbye and left. Marie was afraid to leave the bathroom so she stayed in there fo a couple of hours, she finally felt good enough to move she grabbed the bucket fron under the bathroom sink and layed down on the couch she would not take her hands off her belly she wanted to feel her little baby move again, the feelings she had from that tiny but powerful kick made her forget about the cancer and the bad things that she went through in life like loosing her dad to cancer watching her mom suffer and blame herself for not stopping the cancer, that kick changed so much for Marie she never knew how importnat that kick felt she had felt a baby kick before but this was diffrent this baby was Marie's and it kicked her and was growning inside of her Marie smiled and fell asleep.

Marie had gotten her car unloaded and immediatly went to work on making dessert. She had no idea what she was going to make she just bought alot of things so she could prepare everything. An hour had passed and Brandon walked into the kitchen, Marie what's going on Marie turned around stirring the cake mix. I am making dessert Brandon laughed. Marie let me help you, No! i don't need your help i just want to do this by myself. Okay what should i do then? Did you call everyone and tell them about dinner tonight? Yes i did that before I got home Marie we are meeting them at chef's for dinner and we are having dessert here. Marie turned around really were going to chef's for dinner. Brandon nodded his head, yep I thought it would be a nice dinner for the whole family. Brandon opened the fridge, I see you went shopping. Yes I did you will never guess how much everything was. Do I want to know? I think you should know Marie smiled. Okay just tell me! All togather everything cost two hundrred and fifty dollars. Brandon's mouth dropped, but i had alot of coupons so everything was fifty dollars. Brandon went over and hugged Marie I am so glad you saved that much money I would be really upset if we went broke. Marie let go of Brandon is everything ok at work? Everything is great. Then whats the problem I thought we were kinda rich. We just don't know how much everything is going to cost Marie. What do you mean we have a great budget and we have alot to spend. Marie I know but i want are kid to not be spoiled and we really don't know what's going to happen with your cancer and the baby Marie put her head down Brandon lifted her head I want you to live Marie so i am going to be very cautious with everything. Brandon I don't want to talk about this anymore it's over and done with I love you and I love are baby and I love you both so much more then my own life. Marie walked away put the cake into a pan and set the oven and put the cake in. Marie walked up the stairs to her room Brandon watched her walk away.They didn't talk until it was time for them to meet the family at the restaurant. The car ride there was awkward Marie wanted to tell Brandon that she was so scared about everything but she couldn't, everything was so messed up already how could she do that to him how could she tell him the truth. They finally got to Chefs Marie was about to step out of the car when Brandon grabbed her hand. Marie I am sorry I am just scared and I love you so much I don't want to lose you ever. Marie put her finger on Brandon's lips lets just forget about this whole argument. Brandon smiled agreed. Brandon hugged Marie, the sooner we tell everyone the better we will be. Brandon said, Marie rolled her eyes she was not certain how to tell her mother that she was Dying and that she was pregnant. They walked inside the restuarant hand in hand everyone was waiting for them inside. Brandon my boy we have been waiting here for fifteen minutes Brandon gave his dad a hug sorry mom and dad we lost track of time. Marie darling, mom I have missed you luckily I am in town this month visiting your grandmother. Oh how is gran doing does she finally get to go home? The doctors said they are hoping very soon her attitude is effecting everyone at the hospital. Marie laughed. Marie I know you why are you crying? Marie couldn't tell her mom the truth not in the restroom she quickly thought of a little lie. I have just missed you so much mom I mean it's been since the funeral since I last saw you. I know darling but with your father gone I have been struggling that cancer hit him so fast we didn't have anytime to get treatments. I'm sorry mom lets go back in there and eat I am starving they walked out of the bathroom and back at the table Brandon could see that Marie had been crying Brandon reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone. Marie felt her phone vibrate so she pulled it out of her purse it was a text from Brandon asking if everything was okay and if she told her mom about everything. Marie texted back. everything is fine. Brandon put his phone away. So Marie how is being a stay at wife/ painter working out Howard asked? We'll Howard things are actually going good I sold a painting a week ago. Brandon looked at Marie you never told me that. That's where I got money for all the grociers that i bought today. What was the paingting Jaylene asked? It was of a women holding a little girl in a red dress on her lap in a swing swining togather. Wow Marie how much did you sale it for? I sold it for two hundred and fifty dollars. Oh my gosh that is impressive Marie smiled thankyou there food finally came they ate and talked about everything except the secret that Marie and Brandon shared. So whats for dessert howard asked? We are going back to are place for chocolate cake and icecream. Sounds great Marie everyone said they tipped the waiter a ten dollar tip and headed outside. Marie walked into the kitchen got the chocolate vanilla frosted cake cut and put on paper plates. Brandon dished out the icecream put it with the cake and served everyone Marie covered up the cake and tried to procrastinate so she wouldn't hsve to tell them about the cancer, Marie come on i'm coming Honey, Marie was so nervous her palms were getting really sweaty her heart was racing faster and faster to the point was all she could hear was her heart pounding. She finally made it next to Brandon. Mom dad Shani,we have something to tell you, what is it kids is everything okay? Everything is fine Marie will tell you Brandon tapped Marie on the shoulder go ahead honey tell them. Marie took a deep breath Mom, Howard Jaylene i'm pregnant they all smiled and hugged Marie Oh sweetie i am going to be a grandmother,yes mom. How long are you Nine weeks. Your nine weeks pregnant and your telling us now? There is more Brandon was so anctious. More what else could we ask for Brandon sat on the couch waiting for Marie to tell them that she had cancer. We have names picked out. Already, what are the names? If it's a boy Sean xavier Smith, Jaylenes and Howard had tears in there eyes after your brother. Yes after Sean they hugged Brandon and would not let go and if it's a girl Shani's mom asked we have so many names for a girl but I will tell you one of the names Sophie Shani Smith, after me yes mom after you Shani hugged her daughter and Brandon, Is there anything else wyou wnat to tell them Marie. No that's it thanks for coming and we will see you all soon I want to know whats going on with the baby everyday, They all said there goodbye's and went home Marie went upstairs and got ready for bed. Brandon followed. Marie what happened I thought we were going to tell them, look Brandon I just can't do this right now. Marie shot up look Brandon it maybe little to you to tell your parents that your wife has cancerbut for me to tell my mother that has just lost he husband to cancer that her daughter might die not to mention her own grand kid then fine lets tell tge whole world cuz apparently it's jsut a little thing it's not something that will tear apart this family lets tell the whole world hey world My wife might die and she is scared to at that moment Marie stopped yelling she sat back on the bed and touched her stomache Brandon looked at Marie whats wrong I think the baby jsut kicked Marie looked at Brandon here give me your hand she placed Brandons soft firm hand on her belly do you feel that Brandon felt it apparently are kid hates us fighting he is not he only one i'm sorry Brandon I shouldv'e told them I am so Brandon cut her off No Marie i shouldv'e known how hard this would be for you can we just move on I would love they kissed eachother goodniht and went to sleep Brandon and Marie kept there hands togather close to the baby they didn't want to lose another moment to feel there little baby kick .

to tell or not to tell

Brandon and Marie finally got home, they sat on the couch and watched some tv. Brandon i don't know what to tell my mom, Brandon completley forgot that Marie's dad died from cancer and if Marie's mom found out that Marie had it her mom would blame herself. We have to tell them sometime, I know how about we have everybody over for dinner tommorrow and tell them it would be easier. Brandon took Marie's hand and kissed it only if you promise you will tell them. I promise( Marie didn't know how she was going to tell her family she was going to die and that she was pregnant) Marie pulled away from Brandon I'm tired i'm going to bed i love you Marie went up the stairs. Brandon stayed downstairs and eventually fell asleep. Marie woke up in the middle of the night and realized Brandon had fallen asleep downstairs she got out of bed put on her Pink fuzzy robe and went down stairs, she didn't realize how hungry she was until she went past the fridge she opened the fridge to find her and Brandon's leftover chicken Alfredo she grabbed the white styrophome box put it into the microwave and made sure not to wake up Brandon. She sat at the table and ate here food she ate most of it but she left a little for tommorrows lunch Marie put the food back in the fridge and realized she still had to call her mom and Brandon's family and invite them over for dinner she grabbed a notbook and pen from her purse she looked at all the names she had picked for her future child she smiled and turned the page carefully she wrote down some ideas what they could make for dinner she thought of a bbq with hamburgers and hotdogs or would it be better to make a gourmet meal Maries head was spinning i have no idea what to make Marie went by the couch and gently woke up Brandon. Wakeup I can't think of what to make for dinner tommorrow I need your help. Brandon opened his eyes slowly, do we have to do this right now it's Brandon looked at his fossil watch it's 3 am. Please sweetie Brandon got off the couch and sighed lets do this Marie Shot a huge smile and hugged Brandon they walked to the table. So what do you want to food them Marie told Brandon about all her ideas we could do the bbq but Brandon Honey sweetie we are giving them bad and Awesome news. Brandon rolled his eyes how about we go out to dinner and come back for dessert. Marie nodded her head but what should we have for dessert. Brandon rolled his eyes and smiled lets go to bed Marie and sleep on it. Marie couldn't sleep so she layed there thinking about her little baby and the dinner and dessert she needed to plan. Marie eventually fell asleep by the time Marie woke up Brandon was already at work he left Marie a note on her soft hot pink pillow saying i love you Babe, and don't worry about a thing i will take care of everything he drew a girl getting flowers from a boy on the note she looked at her dresser and saw her favorite flower sitting there in a glass she picked up the purple daisey and smiled she got ot of bed got dressed did her hair ate some cereal and locked the door and left the house in her black car and drove away she had to go to the grocery store and buy some food she had money saved up she pulled into the parking lot parked the car and got out and grabbed a cart and headed inside the store Marie pulled out her phone dialed Brandon's number hey Marie i just wanted to see how you were doing at work? I am doing great the company had there meeting this morning so that's why i left without saying goodbye sorry but i left a note. I know i love your little random notes i love the little drawings you draw on them Brandon smiled i just want you to know that i love you Marie,but Ihave to get back to work I am with some clients and I need to demonstrate the product oh my bad i love you love you too bye Marie hung up and headed to the dairy isle she got 4 gallons of 2% low fat milk she grabbed a carton of butter and six bags of shredded cheese and headed for the grains she got four things of whole grain bread some noodles different shapes and some rice. She headed to the check out when she realized she forgot the chips she walked to the junk isle and grabbed some dorritos all the different flavors and 4 bags of tortilla chips. She grabbed her and Brandon's favorite candy and headed to the meat she got turkey bacon, turkey steaks,tofu dogs and veggitarian burgers and she decided to grab lean bacon lean meat and hot dogs she headed to the vegetables and fruit grabbed grapes and strawberries pineapple basically she is health nut so she grabbed everything. she grabbed everything else that was on her list she fianlly was done went to the checkout it rang up to two hundred and fifty dollars and fifty cents she handed the cashier a handful of coupons the cashier was a teenage boy with black emo hair and black eyeliner he rolled his eyes. he went through the coupons and was really annoyed with Marie he finally finished checking the coupons he sighed your total is fifty dollars. Here you go Marie pulled out fifty dollars and gave it to the cashier have a nice day mam. I was wondering if i could have some help with my groceries the teen rolled his eyes again and said of course in a sarcastic tone. The teen asked his manager to watch over his register so he could help Marie. Thankyou so much um whats your name? It's Tanner nice meeting you Tanner my name is Marie thankyou so much for helping with everything whatever Marie rolled her eyes Tanner finished loading the grocieries. There you go all done, thankyou so much Tanner she handed him aten dollar bill. Wow really, you deserve it kid and i hope that when i came back you will have a better attitude and that you will like your job. Tanner smiled at Marie for you i will try it was nice meeting you. Tanner walked away Marie got in her car and drove away. Marie was feeling relieved to have finished her shopping now she had to go home and get everything ready for the big news she was about to tell everyone.

So what do you want to talk about while were waiting? Brandon asked Marie, I really want to talk about the baby! Brandon smiled what about the baby do you want to talk about? well we still need a name for it Marie looked at Brandon's hand and then into his eyes how about we talk about names then good idea okay do you have some names you want to call are child well Marie you know i had a brother who i admired well when i found out that we were going to have a baby i was thinking we could name him if it's a boy after my brother Sean. Marie smiled if it's a boy his name will be Sean, now how about a middle name do we want him to have a middle name for Sean? Brandon smiled how about Sean Xavier Smith. Marie smiled i love that name Brandons watch went off oh got to go check dinner be right back think of some girl names while i'm gone. Brandon hurried so the food would not burn. Marie grabbed her purse and pulled out a pen and a note book she wanted to write down her ideas she thought of everything she had so many girl names but no middle names at least she had some ideas. Brandon came back with the food it was covered up so Marie couldn't see it so you ready to eat? Honestly Brandon i kinda want to finish talking about names. When they got home Marie went to the fridge and got something to eat Brandon you hungry? Doctor Short came back in to the room. I'm sorry Marie, Marie didn't know what to say she said the first thing that came out of her mouth. Doctor Short smiled alright first off this condition is not going to be easy it's a good thing we caught the cancer before it grew we could make it all go away with treatments but your pregnancy complicates things we can't do treatment while your pregnant. Marie was lost in her thoughts so Brandon spoke up where would that leave us? you have a couple of options you could terminate the fetis so we can start the treatments or you could just stay pregnant and not have any treatments. What would happen if i don't take treatments and i keep my baby? We have never had this happen so the chances are you or the baby could die in child birth chances are you both could. So one of us is going to die anyway we go with this? I am not certain how the results are going to work out. Doctor Short will you give me and my wife a moment to figure this out Doctor Short got up and left the room.
