Brandon pulled into the driveway got out of his car and went to the front door Marie locked the door so he opened it with his key he walked inside all the lights were off except for the bathroom Brandon dropped his stuff and rushed to the bathroom Marie are in there Brandon opened the door are you ok Marie looked at Brandon and started crying Brandon knelt down by her and hugged her Marie hugged him back whats wrong Marie looked up i have been in here all day throwing up i can't move i have no energy Brandon lifted Marie off the red carpet floor and carried her in his arms upstairs to there room he gently put her down on the soft bed do you want me to cover you up Marie looked into Brandon's light blue eyes I just want you to hold me Brandon smiled and whispered I will always hold you but let me get out of my work clothes and into my pajamas Marie smiled Brandon went into the bathroom to change so he could give Marie some time he came out and got on the bed put his arms around Marie and held her Marie fell fast asleep Brandon laid there thinking he finally got off the bed and went down stairs with his phone he sat at the table dialed a number hello dr. short this is Brandon Smith i am sorry to call you so late but Marie is very sick she has been throwing up all day and i don't know if it's morning sickness or if it's the cancer Dr.Short answered back thankyou for calling me do you think she can come in tommorow so we can see whats going on? I am not sure i just got premoted today to be the new ceo of the lunar animation movies and music studios oh congradulations do you think a relative could bring her in then? That won't work either you see we didn't tell anyone about the cancer oh i see well since you and Marie are like family i can have Alice come pick her up and bring her if you would like Brandon smiled that sounds great i bet Marie would love to see Alice again it's been a few years how are her and Jason doing? They are getting married in a few months really wow we are all happy for her and it's because of you that she met Jason i know i need to call him, oh so when is the appointment I will ask Alice just a second Brandon waited for a few minutes Brandon she said that she can come pick up Marie and take care of her tomorrow tell her thank you oh she will be there around 8:00 tomorrow, does that work? Brandon hung up the phone and walked back upstairs he looked at Marie her blonde hair was in her face he got back on the bed put his arm over Marie. kissed her forhead and fell fast asleep. The next morning Marie woke up to find a note on her pillow she smiled she tried sitting up but she didn't have any strength so she laid there and red the note to the love of my life I had to go to work early this morning i will see you when i get home i love you love Brandon. Marie smiled she loved getting the notes from Brandon. Marie laid there for awhile she finally got hungry and pulled herself up she got off the bed and headed down the stairs very carefully she didn't want to fall and hurt the baby she decided it would be best for her to sit down she sat down grabbed the silver chipped railing and slid down the stairs she rolled her eyes everytime she had to slide she finally made it down she sighed and got up she walked into her kitchen opened the fridge just as she was going to look she began to feel nauseous she ran to the bathroom and threw up she got herself up this time she decided to play it safe and just sit on the couch she sighed with relieve she was so exhausted she just wanted to go back to bed so she closed her eyes and began falling asleep just has she was about to daze off the door bell rang she yelled come in the door opened and behind the door came out a a brunete with long hair flowing she walked inside Maire's jaw dropped Alice Short is that you The lady smiled and ran up to Marie yes it is oh my gosh i haven't seen you for a long time it's been two years oh um don't worry about it Alice said go ahead and sit down sorry i am not doing so good Alice smiled i know that's why i am here Brandon called my dad and my dad told him that i could help and so that's why i am here Marie smiled thanks Ali so tell me whats been going on with you Alice it’s been a long time. Alice looked down Marie I am so sorry I ruined everything Marie turned to Alice but you didn’t at first I was hurt that my best friend was trying to sabotage my wedding but I got over it Alice looked at Marie so can you forgive me Marie smiled of course I can how can I not forgive you your my best friend Alice got off the couch and hugged Marie so tell me are you and Jason still together well um not exactly Marie shrugged her shoulders what do you mean well after I ruined your big day Jason took me into a room and was mad he was asking me why I would do this to my best friend not to mention Brandon is mine. I turned around and glared at him that girl in there is not my best friend or anything she is dead to me Jason turned away how could you say that she has done a lot for you and me. I can say whatever I want Jason she chose him over me so excuse me for being such a horrible human being. Jason started to walk away when he closed the door and said you know what Alice I thought you were different I thought that I was in love with you but after seeing you tonight and how you could hurt someone like this I don’t even think that I could be with someone like you but I am not going to let this situation get mixed with my feelings so I am going to let this all slide if you apologize to Marie and Brandon for everything you have done I turned around and said I will never apologize he looked at me then down at the floor and whispered you can find another way home, Fine I will, Oh by the way Alice it’s over I was so angry and hurt by you and Jason I walked home packed up my things and left I moved into an apartment and started going back to my old self which if you remember I was not a nice girl. I was with a different guy each night for I didn’t sleep with them I just made out with them and stuff. One night I was at this club and me and this guy Matt were all over each other we decided to leave the club and go to the store to celebrate something stupid so we bought some whine and some snacks and even when we were in line he wouldn’t stay off of me he started kissing my neck and rubbed his arms all over me I finally said lets go to your place after we buy these groceries he was all up for that we ran back to his apartment but while we running I saw Jason he called my name Alice is that you? I stopped running, Jason how are you I’m good is this your boyfriend not exactly Matt shook Jason’s hand a girl came up to Jason and kissed his lips my heart sank this is Shalleese I couldn’t hold back the tears I ran to the end of the building and hid in the corner and cried seeing Jason brought back memories and seeing him with Shalleese made it more painful I felt a hand touch my hand I looked up it was Jason he sat down next to me and said that’s how I felt when I saw you with that guy Matt we sat there for awhile I told him everything and I almost slept with Matt I looked down ashamed to look him in the eyes he lifted my chin up Alice I did stupid things to but I never stopped thinking about you I smiled I never stopped thinking about you either we fell asleep talking I woke up twenty minutes later I thought I was dreaming that I saw him but then I turned to my side and there he was I laid back down trying not to wake him but he woke up, he smiled I think we should get back to are dates I shook my head in my head I was thinking I never wanted to leave Jason but I knew I had to get back to reality we walked back to where we left Matt and Shalleese but all that was there was the bag I looked inside there was nothing in there I rolled my eyes. Jason looked around they left so what should we do he looked at me and got closer to me where do you live he asked I told him I lived a few blocks from here how about I walk you home I smiled and said I would really like that we started walking and talked the whole way we got to my door I guess that this is good bye he hugged me and walked away I stood there until I realized he was gone I ran after him Jason wait he turned around I am sorry that I never apologized to Marie and Brandon he smiled and walked over to me and said that’s all I wanted to hear we walked back to the door Jason please don’t leave I can’t let you leave again my heart can’t take it he said I won’t leave I opened the door we went inside he took off his jacket so this is your place yes do you like it he looked at all the paintings on the walls these are really good who are they buy oh um I painted them Jason kept looking at one painting is this about us I looked at the painting yes it is it was a painting of us breaking up the background was black and gray there was a girl in a black dress with a pearl necklace and a guy with a black tie there faces expressed pain and so much emotion. Jason looked down at the ground I didn’t realize that you were that hurt that day I shrugged my shoulders it’s not a big deal anymore Jason walked over to me and put his lips on my forehead it felt nice then he kissed my lips I kissed him back there were still fireworks we got more into it I finally stopped Jason I don’t want you to leave but I think it’s for the best Jason looked into my eyes smiled grabbed his coat and said I think your right will you call me when you get home let me see your phone I handed him my blue blackberry he put his number in my phone handed it back to me I will see you tomorrow I smiled sounds like a plan he walked out the door twenty minutes later I got a text from him saying I am glad that we saw each other see you tomorrow I couldn’t sleep after that we stayed up all night texting just like we use to except this time no one was told us to go to bed so we stayed up all night until I finally fell asleep I woke up to my alarm it was six thirty am I got showered and dressed and got ready for work I heard a knock on my door I yelled come in as I was brushing my teeth it was Jason he came in with this huge smile hey he started laughing sorry you got some tooth paste on your cheek I started blushing washed my cheek off and finished brushing my teeth he walked over to me and kissed me wow you smell minty fresh I laughed we walked to work every morning together we had dinner at each others place every night it had been a month when we went to celebrate are one month anniversary he took me to this fancy restaurant and he ordered for me and he started talking Alice when I first met you I didn’t know if it was going to work out but then I saw you a month ago and I knew it would at that moment he got on his knee and said Alice I also know I can’t imagine my life with out you so will you marry me I couldn’t believe it he finally asked me to marry him and I said yes we went to my parents house and told them and we had his parents over as well I realized if I wanted to get married in the temple then I had a lot of repenting to do so I told Jason that I needed time to repent and fix my life but I still want to get married but not until we can get married in the temple Jason agreed so I talked to my bishop and he said that it’s going to take some time and so I finally finished repenting it took six months but I did it and I told Jason that I needed three more months so we can prepare to be married he was all for it so now I am staying with my parents and Jason moved into my apartment and when were married we will move in together. Alice finished her story Marie smiled wow Alice so what are you going to do while you wait well I was going to open a bridal store and since you need something to do I thought you could work there earn some money and we could work together again just like old times Marie smiled I would love to work at your store with you great well little missy I promised your husband I would take you to the doctor so lets go Alice helped Marie stand up and got her outside wow Alice you still have the same car yes I love this car Marie laughed and slowly got in the car Alice started her Porsche and backed out of the drive way and headed to the doctor with Marie
